Dan+Clockwork- Best he can do?

I'd always thought that Dan would one day meet Clockwork face to face and be introduce to his existance. It may be implied on "The Ultimate Enemy" where he staed that Clockwork was meddling again.

How they met? Hard to say entirely for myself. But I think that they would fight (Or Dan in that matter) that would turn out a straight froward answer.

Of course it would be on his young age where he would have made a mistake to even begin the fight with Clockwork.
